Always precise and demanding, Camille is working to create a new type of performance for Versailles. This unbeliever will bring to life a repertoire of sacred songs that she will perform in the Royal Chapel: Christian, Sufi, Shinto, Buddhist, Jewish and Hindu; plucky and forthright, brave and zany, outrageously self-confident and stubbornly curious, she has a singular aversion to making life easy for herself. Here she invites us on a journey to the centre of the world where pure, clean voices will rise up into the air in a rediscovery of Bach’s cantatas, rounding off a unique event... rather like Camille!
